At TEDxRio, videos of lectures (TEDTalks) and live speakers will combine in such a way as to stimulate connections and discussions that will have local, regional and global reach.
The TED Conference provides general guides for the TEDx program but TEDx events are organized by a team of dedicated professionals, not involving TED.
